11 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Nov 26, 2022 (Edited) I bought an LE version 14.5 inch MCX Virtus upper a while back and just recently pulled the flash hider off to find that the barrel is not tapered, just a flat 90 degree. I also bought a separate 14.5" barrel conversion kit recently, but that barrel is tapered at the end.Those upper receivers that you linked are meant to be used for the virtus handguards with m-lok. One thing to consider is that the mcx lowers are compatible with either the legacy or virtus uppers.
